The intrepid folks over at Wowhead have continued to dig up tons of pretty cool new files and models from the patch 5.4 PTR. New mounts have been added to the files — three new armored cloud serpent models, presumably for PvP participants, and the Stormcrow mount.

Along with the now-familiar red and gold varieties of cloud serpents shrouded in intimidating armor, there’s also the gorgeous onyx variety pictured above. While there aren’t any details yet on how these serpents will be obtained, it’s safe to assume that they’re PvP related, as pretty much all of the PvP reward mounts have been armored versions of current expansion models.

While a character can be played on its own, players can group with others to tackle more challenging content. Most end-game challenges are designed in a way that they can only be overcome while in a group. In this way, character classes are used in specific roles within a group. World of Warcraft uses a “rested bonus” system, increasing the rate that a character can gain experience points after the player has spent time away from the game. When a character dies, it becomes a ghost—or wisp for Night Elf characters—at a nearby graveyard. Characters can be resurrected by other characters that have the ability, or can self-resurrect by moving from the graveyard to the place where they died. If a character is past level ten and they resurrect at a graveyard, the items equipped by the character degrade, requiring in-game money and a specialist NPC to repair them. Items that have degraded heavily become unusable until they are repaired. If the location of the character’s body is unreachable, they can use a special “spirit healer” NPC to resurrect at the graveyard. When the spirit healer revives a character, items equipped by the character at that time are further degraded, and the character is significantly weakened by what is in-game called “resurrection sickness” for up to ten minutes, depending on the character’s level. This “resurrection sickness” does not occur and item degradation is less severe if the character revives by locating its body, or is resurrected by another player through special items or spells.

As for the Stormcrow, Adriacraft has a video of this impressive steed in motion. It bears a resemblance to the Reins of the Raven Lord, but unlike poor Anzu, this bird can fly — and it’s got crackling lightning aura to boot. While there is no news at all yet on where this unique mount will be obtained, it doesn’t seem to be related to the Siege of Orgrimmar at all. Perhaps a lost relic on the Timeless Isle? A new pet store mount? Only time will tell.

Wow Cosmetic helms

The first round of transmog gear for purchase has appeared in the Blizzard store. The Crown of Eternal Winter, Jewel of the Firelord, and Hood of Hungering Darkness are all head slot items with zero stats, functional only for cosmetic reasons. All three of these items are unique models with animations, and I do have to say, they are rather visually arresting. Of the three, I think the Jewel of the Firelord (pictured above) is my favorite, but I’m quite sure the Crown of Eternal Winter will be a popular choice thanks to its skull face look. Spooky!

Something notable about these helms is that they don’t seem to have an armor type. The description tells us that they work across all races and classes, and are available on all current and future WoW characters. So for those of us playing classes that might not have a whole lot of variety available to us (ahem, mail-wearers) this could be a nice way to expand the wardrobe.

Much of World of Warcraft play involves the completion of quests. These quests, also called “tasks” or “missions”, are usually available from NPCs. Quests usually reward the player with some combination of experience points, items, and in-game money. Quests allow characters to gain access to new skills and abilities, and explore new areas. It is through quests that much of the game’s story is told, both through the quest’s text and through scripted NPC actions. Quests are linked by a common theme, with each consecutive quest triggered by the completion of the previous, forming a quest chain. Quests commonly involve killing a number of creatures, gathering a certain number of resources, finding a difficult to locate object, speaking to various NPCs, visiting specific locations, interacting with objects in the world, or delivering an item from one place to another.

All three of these helms are available for purchase in the US Blizzard Store under the Collectibles tab for $15.00 apiece and in the EU Blizzard Store under the Pets & Mounts tab, for 12,00 euros each.

Classes of World of Warcraft Warrior

For as long as war has raged, heroes from every race have aimed to master the art of battle. Warriors combine strength, leadership, and a vast knowledge of arms and armor to wreak havoc in glorious combat. Some protect from the front lines with shields, locking down enemies while allies support the warrior from behind with spell and bow. Others forgo the shield and unleash their rage at the closest threat with a variety of deadly weapons.
http://us.battle.net/wow/static/images/game/class/story-thumb-warrior.jpg
The warrior’s battle cries embolden friends and leave foes cowering in fear. With legendary precision, warriors target the smallest gaps in armor and slice at hamstrings in a blur of steel.Every dragon slain, corrupted tyrant toppled, and demon banished from Azeroth has trembled in the face of these lords of war.

Warrior Information
Warriors equip themselves carefully for combat and engage their enemies head-on, letting attacks glance off their heavy armor. They use diverse combat tactics and a wide variety of weapon types to protect their more vulnerable allies. Warriors must carefully master their rage – the power behind their strongest attacks – in order to maximize their effectiveness in combat.

Warrior Talents
Warrior talents can improve their already considerable defenses with a shield, increase their deadliness with two-handed weapons, or bolster their savagery while dual-wielding.

Defense
Mighty warriors depend on their heavy armor, shields, and battle prowess to defend themselves and ensure enemies don’t focus on their softer-skinned allies.

Melee damage
Weapon mastery is a staple of warrior training, and they are capable of delivering high damage with enormous two-handed weapons or by wielding two weapons.

Rage
As warriors deal or take damage, their rage grows, allowing them to deliver truly crushing attacks in the heat of battle.

Stances
By changing their stance during battle, warriors can adjust their focus in combat, dealing greater damage, defending more carefully against enemy attacks, or striking a balance between the two.

Wow Mists of Pandaria a personal story tips

The Wandering Isle is one of WoW’s most laid back locations. A few monkeys and killer rabbits – adorably called “Carrotcrunchers” – are about the worst you have to deal with, which is why a panda’s life revolves around practising a million different ways to kick arse without even having any bubblegum.
50 things about Pandaria
Someone at Blizzard is apparently a Ranma ½ fan. Part of the training temple is devoted to cursed springs that transform anyone who falls into them into a new form. Unlike the Jusenkyo pools of that series, it’s temporary and you’ll only transform into other animals. Still, watch out for cranes. They won’t attack a panda, but a frog? That’s lunch!

Much of the tutorial is a personal story, as you join up with a band of more experienced Pandaren. You’ll get to know them pretty well, including would-be lovers Aysa and Ji, and strongman Jojo Ironbrow. He keeps demanding you bring him materials to break with the power of his mighty head. It’d be very mean to try to fi nd something strong enough to give him the same kind of headache he’s given you… right?

Hope you’re ready for a fight! Your first proper battle involves taking down a flying serpent called Zhao-Ren with nothing but fireworks. While regular enemies are still tagged by the first striker, bosses are willing to be beaten up by impromptu groups. Run up and take part and you’ll be given kill credit – both here and in later big fights

Get ready to befriend an island. To fi nd out what’s wrong, you get to be fl own by hot-air balloon for a one-on-one chat with great sea turtle, Shen-zin Su – badly wounded by a crashed Alliance ship carrying Horde prisoners. The fi rst thing they did? Make two camps and hang war banners. This bodes well for the Pandaren people…

Wow Mists of Pandaria coolest Monk attack tips

The coolest Monk attack is the Touch Of Death. It recharges fast, and doesn’t take much to perform – a couple of build-up strikes to raise Chi. What does it do? It one-hit kills just about any NPC, provided they don’t have more health than you do and aren’t a protected boss. In short, forget about getting Bruce Lee on Deathwing or another player’s buttocks, but just about anyone you meet out on the field? They’re history.
50 things about Pandaria
You also get a couple of ways to utterly humiliate yourself in battle – the king of them being the Flying Serpent Kick. This kick launches you through the air, but rather than targeting an enemy, will happily see you zoom straight past them and off the nearest cliff. To use it, you have to tap the button again mid-flight to slam down with a shockwave. It’s laggy though, so practice and good timing are needed to use it effectively.

The three Monk sub-classes are Brewmaster (Tank), Windwalker (Damage) and Mistweaver (Healer). The first is easily the silliest. Want to be a giant happy panda who stops enemies by drinking beer and hurling the kegs at your enemies? This is your class. It has quite a lot less class than its trainers like to pretend.

Monks have their own Moonglade equivalent in the snowy Pandarian mountain, with a spell to take a ‘zen pilgrimage’ for advanced training. The return trip puts you back more or less where you left, with no need to take taxis or run across the whole world. In a cute touch, you have to bow to your master before fighting. By typing ‘/bow’.

There is no Achievement for snagging a panda-related pun, but that’s not going to stop anyone. Pandrogny, Monium and Ring are just three of the names you’ll fi nd funny at fi rst, but which will develop into deep shame over the next few years. Have fun!

Wow Mists of Pandaria starting area tips

Getting to Pandaria is easy. If you’re at Level 85 already, you’ll get a letter with directions. If not, roll a new Pandaren to at least get the fl avour of it. You’ll be able to do this even if you don’t have the expansion pack – all races are going to be unlocked for everyone – although you won’t be able to create a Monk unless you upgrade. That leaves Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman and Mage as possibilities. Sorry, no Death Knights.
50 things about Pandaria
The Pandaren starting area is the Wandering Isle – a giant turtle with mountains, currently swimming off course. Before you can do anything about that though, you’ve got to train. Think Wushu with bamboo – pagodas, forests, dragons, mischievous elemental gods. It’s a much, much slower-paced start than Cataclysm’s new races got, though there’s still plenty of beating stuff up between lectures about nobility and meditation.

There’s no getting around it: World of Warcraft’s engine is old. Mists of Pandaria doesn’t change that, but it does take full advantage of being able to crank its draw distance for the sprawling temples, and packs its locations with detail and colour. When you’re in the wilds, it’s more familiar stuff. The set-piece locations are big and lovely, though.

Pandaren get a few racial traits, including better cooking skills and ‘inner peace’ for more rested XP. However the funniest one is that being fat – sorry, ‘bouncy’ – they take less falling damage than other races. This doesn’t mean you can jump off cliffs though, so it’s likely to be of limited use – unless you are just spectacularly clumsy.

On the other hand, Monks are a major addition. Everyone but the Worgen/ Goblins can take this class, which covers the whole DPS/Healer/Tank trinity. They wear leather armour and focus on staves, using energy to build up Chi that can be deployed in ways that really put the ‘holy freaking hell’ into ‘overpowered’ – at least at the moment.

Wow The Ogres

The Ogres

wow ogre race
Chris Metzen said he wanted Ogres and honestly, it’s not a bad idea. Ogres, while mostly volatile in World of Warcraft, are a pretty fleshed out race. Plus, there are already Ogres allied with the Horde in the Stonemaul clan.

While you’re busy storming Lei Shen’s Isle of Thunder, getting better at your spec, or lagging out while hundreds of people attempt Oondasta, some World of Warcraft players are looking towards the future. Following the usual trend, we should be getting the announcement of a brand new expansion pack at Blizzcon this year. That means it’s time for speculation! Where will we go? Who will we fight? Will there be a new class? How about some races?

Yes, how about some races? There are plenty that make sense to add to both Alliance and Horde in terms of the on-going story. Today we have ten new World of Warcraft races listed that should be added to either one of the factions or be made a neutral selection, ala Pandaren.

Ogres have the overall presence of an old-school Horde races and with their presence dating back to the beginning of World of Warcraft (even before that in the Warcraft series) and climaxing during the Cataclysm expansion, Ogres are in a great position to finally join the rank and file of the Horde races.

Wow The Hozen

The Hozen
wow hozen race
As I said above in the Jinyu section, the Hozen were the race that the Horde interacted with on Pandaria. These monkeys are very personable and with the Forest Hozen befriending the Horde, this seems like a good fit. Besides, the Hozen are hilarious and would prove to be even more comic relief aside the Goblins.

Even though they can be funny, the Hozen are still ruthless creatures. They follow orders to a ‘T’ and can be vicious. Under the leadership of a single warrior and partnered up with the rest of the Horde would put the Hozen in a good place to become extremely feared.

Wow The Satyrs

The Satyrs

wow satyr vs monk
These demonic creatures are the epitome of deceit and trickery. The one thing they hate the most, however, is being tricked themselves. The only way I can see this happening is if when the Burning Legion comes back and Sargeras basically tosses aside the Satyrs and says he has no need for their foul tricks anymore as he begins his full invasion of Azeroth. That would piss the Satyrs off enough to rally against the other demons. This also gives players a demonic playable race, which has been a popular topic for years.

The Satyrs would have to be a neutral race. Malfurion would never allow them to become completely Alliance after what Xavius did and I doubt Thrall would be very ecstatic with them, either. Still, the Satyrs are master infiltrators and that would be extremely handy against the Burning Legion. There will no doubt be loyal Satyrs who remain with the Legion even after Sargeras’ cruel decision. Being able to infiltrate the Legion and bring back intelligence is something both the Alliance and Horde would find valuable.

And, honestly, the only other demonic race I could see being playable without introducing a third faction just for demons would be the Tothrezim since they’re almost just like the Ethereals in their ways of life and greed, just demonic. Satyrs just look like the best choice for a playable demon race that makes sense.

WOW Amazing Buff Guide

I believe it that players who are addicted to the PVP must have encountered or heard about the situation before, that the two parties are of equal capacities and they all have great healing in the team, which lead to the lasting of the game. Since it is too hard to break the tie, both parties may have to suffer deduction on points for the existence of the time limits to the Arena.
World of Warcraft Game Review - MMO Hut
Actually, it is not reasonable to use this method to end this game. Even through the killing can not be reached for the combination of the team, there is still difference and distance between the two parties. We can just simply come to that conclusion that the capacity of the two teams’ is equal. After seeing that point, a new buff which is named “The Crowd Chose You” will be added in the Arena in Patch 5.4.

15 minutes after the lasting of the combat, this buff will be added to certain player according to certain conditions. From the picture above, we can see it that this buff can give the player 10 times ability to cause damage and immune to all the damages. What is more exciting is that he can discover the stealthed units as well. This buff can definitely end the battle easily. The party that wins the buff can get the final victory of the combat at last without any question.

While what the players care about most is how this buff works and how to gain the incredible buff. According to the instruction in the Patch 5.4 PTR, we can see that the buff is more reliable to the side which owns the advantages. The system will judge the situation according to the number of survivals in your party and the life value of the enemies’. We believe that the specific rule will be more correct, or according to the rules in the PTR, there are many bugs that can be took advantage of by the players.
