Nobundo gripped the handle just under the head

He had lived his life honorably. Yet… could this be some kind of punishment? Even as his mind reached for answers, his hand reached out and immediately brushed against cold stone. He slowly became aware that he was lying in a very awkward position, that some softer but still formidable mass was packed tightly next to him, and that his left leg was most certainly broken. He rolled to his right and took in a deep breath, trying to ignore the pain in his ribs and leg. Without recourse to the Light he could not heal himself, and so he would just have to live with the pain for now. At least the feeling had returned to his left side. And… he could hear the muffled noises caused by his movements, so his hearing had returned as well.

The fact that he was breathing meant that air was reaching him from somewhere. As his eyes continued to adjust, he spotted a pinhole, not of light, but simply a lighter shade of darkness than that which surrounded him. He reached out farther, and his hand landed on a familiar cylindrical object: the shaft of his hammer. With what little strength he possessed, Nobundo gripped the handle just under the head, lifted and thrust in the direction of the pinhole. Chunks of masonry gave way, vaguely revealing a cramped passage created by the massive stone blocks and the angles at which they had fallen.

His ears were immediately greeted with the sound of muted screams, wails of pure terror issuing from some distance away. He used the hammer to pull his upper torso through the hole he created and into the tight space. As he did, he heard a deep moaning sound from the depths of the rubble behind him. With a burst of strength he pulled himself the rest of the way into the passage, stifling the urge to cry out as his broken leg raked across the jagged stone threshold and sent lances of pain throughout his body. The labored moans continued. The stones around him shifted, and sand and dirt filtered down through the cracks. Quickly he dragged himself toward an irregularly shaped egress, where he spied the faintest hint of light.

RuneScape Touts Over 200 Million Accounts

RuneScape, has announced that their 11 year old games has over 200 million registered accounts. To give context to that, the press release states that “if RuneScape were a country it would be the 5th largest population in the world.”Jagex CEO Mark Gerhard says that the team has “witnessed a really strong resurgence in the game’s popularity over the past two years and are seeing strong player growth year on year.” To celebrate the account milestone and the game’s continuing success, Jagex have created what the press release calls “a suitably epic in-game celebration.” Jagex has also created a website to celebrate 200 million, with community testimonals, infographics and more.

To be fair, there was a time when this was one of the best MMO’s on the market, and IGN used a picture from that era… lol. But really, the game used to have 1.1 million people on at the same time, but it’s dead now. It has been dead since they came out with skill capes and took away PKing at virtually the same time back in 2007. Skill capes… blech, such a terrible idea. Welcome to no funscape. The Guild for only the quest champions of RuneScape lay in the suburbs of Varrock city just south-west of the main city [map]. To enter this most prestigious guild in the Free worlds, you would need at least 33 Quest Points (roughly completed nearly all free players quests). The Guild Master will greet you as soon as you enter the Guild. He is also the NPC you would want to talk to start the Dragon Slayer quest.

On the first floor there is nothing much apart from a small chicken coup outside. The chickens drop bones, feathers, and raw chicken, which can all be used. The bones can be buried for Prayer experience, the Raw chicken cooked at the range for Cooking experience which is also right there on the first floor, and the Feathers for Fishing, Fletching if you are a member, or they can be sold. This is a good place for low level cooks to get some levels up because there is a range in the next room. This is also the quest start point for one of the hardest non members quests, Dragon Slayer. To start the Dragon Slayer quest, talk to the Guild Master.
